Jim started his career in finance in 2003 by joining his family’s advisory firm. In 2019 he sold the business and joined Athlon Advisors. As part of the OSJ division, he provides compliance and support services for our team of advisors. Jim is a problem-solver, and he enjoys helping advisors meet the many demands involved in serving their clients.

Jim graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He also has a master’s degree in psychology from Drexel University. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as state Life & Health Insurance licensed. In 2013, he earned the CFP® designation. Prior to his career in finance, Jim researched Alzheimer’s disease at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and bass guitar.
